DTC's Custody Service enables participants to outsource the safekeeping and processing of physical securities that are not or cannot be held through DTC’s core depository services.
DTC’s Deposits Service offers participant firms a number of ways to deposit various types of eligible securities into the depository, from where they can receive a full range of processing, safekeeping and recordkeeping services.
DTC's Deposit and Withdrawal at Custodian (DWAC) service provides participants with the ability to make electronic book-entry deposits and withdrawals of eligible securities into and out of their DTC book-entry accounts using FAST transfer agent as the distribution point.
The Direct Registration System (DRS) enables investors to elect to hold their assets in book entry form directly with the issuer by leveraging DTC’s connectivity with FAST transfer agents.
DTC offers participants several ways of withdrawing securities certificates or positions from the depository, including Withdrawal-by-Transfer (WT), Certificate on Demand (COD), and DWAC Withdrawals.
